Make the most of your pod with flexible resources
Our VDI pods come with agreed resources depending on a client’s requirements, but those requirements can change over time as teams grow and contract or specific projects demand extra compute. With that in mind we provide complete flexibility in terms of how a client might utilise the resources on any pod.
Virtual processors, memory and GPU can be adjusted and reassigned as desired through our easy to use administration portal. The vdesk config/control facility details available resources for any specific vdesk, allowing you to adjust and save an updated config in a matter of seconds. With the flick of a toggle (top right) you can also disable the vdesk and free up its resources for others to use.
A brand new capability also now allows the assignment of multiple GPUs to any vdesk, to provide additional graphical power for clients that can take advantage of multiple GPU rendering or are looking for multiple GPU power for their AI tools.
We can bespoke build any custom pod specification for clients, utilising dedicated Nvidia GPUs, shared Intel Flex GPUs or GPU-less vdesks for knowledge workers, with as much RAM, CPU and storage as desired. vdesks are enabled on a license basis so clients can run as many as they wish, in any configuration they wish, within the total resources of any ordered pod.
We continue to develop the Inevidesk service at a rapid pace to continually introduce new functionality, more flexibility and greater efficiency of management with our consistent focus on performance, reliability and cost accessibility.
Our broadening capabilities ensure that not only do we remain the best fit for the AEC industry (as our growing list of clients attest), but are also now able to offer our VDI to a much wider range of use cases; from standard office workers to post-production VFX to AI deployments.
